Two people were seriously injured following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Fallbrook, San Diego County, on Sunday morning, June 23, 2024.
According to the North County Fire Protection District, the vehicular accident occurred at about 10:50 a.m. along South Hill Avenue near Merida Drive.
The incident involved an unspecified vehicle with three occupants. While the circumstances surrounding the crash remain unclear, it is said that the car rolled over at least once, ejecting at least two people inside.
Authorities confirmed that two individuals suffered life-threatening injuries after getting thrown into the residential road while the vehicle was rolling over. The responding crew then airlifted the two victims to Palomar Medical Center in Escondido for further medical care. Details regarding the identities of the two patients weren’t disclosed.
The third occupant of the crashed car was reportedly examined on-scene for any injuries but declined any medical assistance. There is no confirmation yet if he or she was injured as well.
