A woman was killed, and at least 32 other people were injured after a semi-truck crossed the center divider and crashed into multiple vehicles on the 210 Freeway in Irwindale on Saturday morning, June 20, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash was reported at around 8:55 a.m. on the westbound 210 Freeway just west of Irwindale Avenue.
Authorities stated that a semi-truck crossed from the eastbound side of the freeway into the westbound lanes after crashing through the center barrier. The truck then jackknifed across several westbound lanes and struck multiple vehicles.
An adult woman was pronounced dead at the scene. Her identity has not been released pending notification of next of kin.
Fire officials reported that two people sustained critical injuries and 30 others suffered minor injuries. Eight patients, including six minors, were transported to local hospitals for treatment, while 22 others declined transportation.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
