Two juveniles were injured following a crash in Plumas County on Friday afternoon, June 19, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol Quincy Area office, the crash occurred around 4:32 p.m. on State Route 70 just east of Overload Road.
Officers responded to reports of a vehicle that struck a tree. The vehicle had three occupants, including an adult male driver and two juveniles.
Investigators determined the driver was under the influence of alcohol. The driver was arrested on suspicion of DUI, causing injury, and child endangerment. Both juveniles were transported to Plumas District Hospital for treatment of their injuries.
Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
