According to the authorities, the crash happened at about 7:25 a.m. on the Garfield Avenue and Robertson Avenue intersection.

Initial reports suggest that the bicyclist was almost not moving when he was suddenly struck by a vehicle traveling along the roadway at less than ten mph.
