[06-15-2026] Kern County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Rear-End Crash in Frazier Park.webpA motorcyclist was killed after a crash involving an SUV in Frazier Park, Kern County, on Monday morning, June 15, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Fort Tejon Area units responded at around 6:09 a.m. to reports of a collision between a motorcycle and a Chevrolet SUV on Frazier Mountain Park Road, east of Mt. Pinos Way.

Authorities reported that a 65-year-old man was riding a motorcycle westbound on Frazier Mountain Park Road when a 27-year-old driver in a Chevrolet SUV, also traveling westbound and approaching from behind, collided with the rear of the motorcycle. The rider was ejected upon impact and struck the SUV’s windshield.

The motorcyclist died from his injuries. The SUV driver remained at the scene and cooperated with investigators. 

Authorities continue to investigate the collision.
