A possible minor injury was reported after a multi-vehicle collision in West Sacramento on Friday afternoon, June 14, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the traffic crash happened at about 12:24 p.m. along eastbound Interstate 80.

CHP officers stated that two vehicles were involved in the incident but did not provide an accurate or approximate number of the people involved. Initial reports also suggested that one of the cars at the crash site burst into flames.

CHP stated that someone may have been hurt following the crash. That person’s name, age, and gender were not disclosed as of yet.
