Four people were injured following a two-vehicle crash in North Highlands, Sacramento County, on Thursday morning, June 13, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 6:34 a.m. on I-80 near the split for Business 80. 

Authorities stated a big overturned crash happened on the westbound side of the freeway, resulting in a traffic backup. The collision involved two unspecified vehicles, but it is unclear how the crash happened. 

Four people were reportedly injured and transported to the hospital in unknown conditions. The extent of their injuries, their names, ages, and genders have not yet been revealed. Their current conditions were also not provided as of this writing. 

The cause of the crash is still unclear. Police are currently investigating to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.
