According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred shortly after 6:30 p.m. near Lower Sacramento Road and Grider Way. Officials reported that a female driver missed a turn and drove into the building.

Two 9-year-old children inside the building were injured by debris caused by the collision. Both were transported to a hospital with minor injuries.

Authorities stated that the rest of the dance class was on the opposite side of the building at the time of the crash, preventing further injuries.

CHP officials confirmed that alcohol and drugs were not factors in the incident. Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
