According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, the incident occurred around 11:15 p.m. on Santa Rosa Street, mid-block near Taco de Mexico. 

The pedestrian was crossing when they were hit by a northbound vehicle. The victim was transported to a hospital with moderate but non-life-threatening injuries.

Authorities stated that DUI is not suspected. The crash remains under investigation.
