Two drivers were hospitalized following a two-vehicle crash in Hesperia on Wednesday afternoon, June 4, 2025.
The California Highway Patrol responded to the scene around 12:09 p.m. at the intersection of Summit Valley Road and Foley Road. The collision involved a black Kia Forte and a white pickup truck.
Initial reports suggested a head-on crash, but findings at the scene indicated that the Kia may have struck the side of the pickup. The Kia, which sustained severe damage to the driver’s side, came to rest about 500 feet from the impact. The male driver was extricated by firefighters and airlifted to a trauma center. His condition remains unknown.
The pickup truck driver sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to a nearby hospital by ground ambulance.
Authorities are continuing to investigate the cause of the collision.
