Four people were injured after a two-vehicle collision in Moreno Valley on Tuesday afternoon, June 4, 2024.
According to the Riverside County Fire Department, the traffic crash happened around 4:55 p.m. at Fir Avenue and Morrison Street, south of Moreno Valley (60) Freeway.
Firefighters said that the occupants of one vehicle were trapped following the crash and needed to be extricated using heavy gear. It is still unclear how many were rescued from that specific vehicle.
A total of four people sustained moderate injuries as a result of the accident. All of them were taken to Riverside University Medical Center for further medical care.
Additional details regarding how the incident occurred were not available at this time. The authorities are still gathering all the necessary information to determine the possible factors.
