[06-04-2024] One Person Killed Following Two-Vehicle Collision Along Highway 70 in OrovilleOne person was killed following a two-vehicle collision in Oroville on Tuesday morning, June 4, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash happened around 10:00 a.m. on Highway 70 and Montgomery Street. 

Authorities stated that the collision involved a Ram pickup truck with one occupant and a white vehicle with two people inside. The pickup truck rear-ended the white vehicle, resulting in one fatality. An occupant of the white vehicle was declared dead at the scene.  

At this time, the identities of the deceased and the other involved parties are undisclosed. It is unknown if there is anyone else injured. Drugs and alcohol do not appear as the factors of the collision. 

Police are still investigating the crash. No additional details were provided.
