[06-03-2024] Male Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By Hit-And-Run Vehicles in Turlock A male pedestrian was killed after being struck by hit-and-run vehicles along Highway 99 in Turlock on Monday morning, June 3, 2024. 

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 5:00 a.m. on the east part of the West Main Street on-ramp. 

Authorities stated that a male pedestrian, whose name was undisclosed, was found on the east roadway of West Main Street on-ramp. The man appeared to have been struck or run over by at least one vehicle. A witness reported to the responding officers that an unspecified car ran over the pedestrian who was lying on the ground. 

The victim was pronounced dead at the scene, and no driver of the vehicle that struck him reported it and asked for help. Details on his identity have not yet been disclosed, and the police are asking those who have seen the incident to contact CHP at 209-545-7440.

No further information was released. Investigations are ongoing.
