[06-01-2025] Three People Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 Near Nojoqui Summit South of BuelltonThree people sustained injuries in a two-vehicle collision on Highway 101 south of Buellton on Sunday afternoon, June 1, 2025.

According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the crash occurred shortly after noon in the northbound lanes just north of the Nojoqui Summit.  Emergency crews arrived to find one of the vehicles had veered 10 to 20 feet off the highway.

A man and woman in one of the vehicles suffered minor to moderate injuries and were transported to Santa Barbara Cottage Hospital by AMR ambulance. A woman in the second vehicle sustained minor injuries and was taken to Santa Ynez Valley Cottage Hospital.

The California Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the collision.
