[06-01-2024] One Person Killed After Two-Vehicle Collision Along CA-14 Near ActonOne person was killed after a two-vehicle collision near Acton, Los Angeles County, early Saturday morning, June 1, 2024.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the fatal traffic crash happened at about 3:56 a.m. on northbound Antelope (14) Freeway at Ward Road.

The circumstances behind the incident remain unclear, but officers reported that one person was found dead in the crash site. The victim’s name, gender, and age were not available at this time. 

It is still unclear if the deceased was a driver or a passenger. As of this writing, no other injuries or fatalities have been reported.

CHP closed the No. 1 and 2 northbound lanes of the freeway as a precaution. All lanes were back at about 8:42 a.m.

Additional information was not immediately available, and the CHP is still gathering all the evidence it could find to determine the factors leading up to the deadly vehicular accident.

The investigation is ongoing.
