[05-29-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Two Injured After Vehicle Goes Over Side of Mulholland Highway in Malibu.webpTwo people were injured after a vehicle went over the side of Mulholland Highway in the Malibu area on Friday morning, May 29, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles County Fire Department, the crash was reported around 7:05 a.m. in the 2500 block of Mulholland. 

Fire crews arrived at the scene by 7:20 a.m. and located the vehicle approximately 13 minutes later, about 300 feet down the slope.

Malibu Search and Rescue personnel assisted at the scene, and the California Highway Patrol provided traffic control between Bardman Avenue and just north of Pacific Coast Highway.

Authorities reported that a medic was lowered by helicopter to the vehicle. One person was hoisted to the road, while the second remained trapped and was tended to by the medic. At least one of the injured was conscious and speaking to rescuers.

Both individuals were transported to a trauma center for further treatment.

Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
