According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 5:41 p.m., approximately one mile south of Sandia Creek. 

Multiple emergency units responded to the scene, including two tow trucks—one of which was later canceled.

Although children in car seats were reported to be among those involved, there were no immediate reports of injuries. A witness at the scene indicated that officers were also investigating whether alcohol may have been a contributing factor.

Further information regarding the cause of the crash and any pending charges has not yet been released. The investigation remains ongoing.
