One person sustained minor injuries following a two-vehicle rollover crash that caused significant traffic delays on Highway 101 in San Luis Obispo on Wednesday morning, May 28, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred at approximately 11:56 a.m. on southbound Highway 101 near the South Higuera Street off-ramp.
A silver Toyota Camry and a small SUV were involved in the crash, which caused one of the vehicles to overturn and land back on its wheels on the hillside.
By 12:01 p.m., all occupants had exited the vehicles. Emergency responders arrived at the scene, and traffic began to back up, eventually extending past Los Osos Valley Road by 12:20 p.m.
CHP reported that the incident resulted in minor injuries. Both vehicles were moved to the roadside, and lanes were cleared shortly after. Tow trucks were dispatched to remove the damaged vehicles.
Authorities continue to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
