A pedestrian in his 40s was hospitalized after being struck by a vehicle in the Westlake neighborhood of Los Angeles early Wednesday morning, May 28, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles Police Department, officers responded to the scene at approximately 1:08 a.m. in the 500 block of South Alvarado Street near Sixth Street and MacArthur Park. When they arrived, they found the injured man lying in the street.
Paramedics from the Los Angeles Fire Department transported the victim to a nearby hospital. His condition has not been disclosed.
Authorities said the driver involved in the incident remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
