[05-25-2024] One Person Injured Following Two-Vehicle Collision in VistaOne person was injured following a two-vehicle collision in Vista on Saturday night, May 25, 2024.

According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Office, the traffic accident happened at about 10:54 p.m. in the 900 block of Civic Center Drive.

Authorities said that a sedan crashed into another vehicle for some reason, causing it to go out of control before slamming into a nearby building. 

The deputy in charge of the incident described the sedan driver as elderly but was unable to confirm their age. There were minor injuries to the driver, which did not require hospitalization.

It is currently unknown if the other driver involved suffered any injuries.

Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the authorities. No arrests have been made as of yet.

Additional information was not immediately available. The authorities are still gathering all the evidence they could find to determine the cause of the incident.
