At least one person was killed in a two-vehicle collision on southbound Interstate 215 in Riverside on Saturday night, May 24, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred at approximately 9:33 p.m. just north of Columbia Avenue.
The incident involved a red Honda Accord and a gray Chevy Tahoe. The Tahoe overturned onto its side, and one person was reportedly trapped inside the Accord.
Witnesses told officers that multiple children, including an infant, were inside the Tahoe at the time of the crash. The number of injured parties has not been confirmed.
No further details have been released. The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
