[05-23-2025] DUI Driver Crashes Into Six Vehicles in PetalumaA DUI suspect caused two vehicle collisions involving six cars before a civilian intervened in Petaluma on Friday evening, May 23, 2025.

According to the Petaluma Police Department, the incidents occurred while officers were conducting DUI saturation patrols. The suspect, identified as Kai B., was driving with a blood-alcohol content over twice the legal limit.

Police said the suspect was involved in two separate crashes and continued driving until a community member stopped him and took his keys. No injuries were reported in either incident.

The suspect was arrested and booked for driving under the influence and violating probation. He was one of three people arrested for DUI during the patrols.

The investigation remains ongoing.
