[05-23-2024] Rider Hospitalized Following Motorcycle Vs. Vehicle Collision at Creekside Drive in FolsomA rider was hospitalized following a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in Folsom on Thursday afternoon, May 23, 2024. 

According to the Folsom Police Department, the collision happened around 4:30 p.m. at East Bidwell Street and Creekside Drive. 

Authorities stated that the collision involved a motorcycle and a vehicle. A rider sustained injuries and was transported to the hospital for immediate treatment. The extent of injuries, as well as the condition of the patient, remain unclear. 

It is unknown if there is anyone else injured. Creekside Drive between East Bidwell Street and North Lexington Drive was closed until 7:50 p.m. for further investigation. 

No additional details were disclosed, and the authorities are gathering all the necessary information to determine the cause of the accident.
