[05-22-2026] Orange County, CA – Motorcyclist Killed in Crash with Tesla Cybertruck in Fullerton (1).webpA man riding a motorcycle was killed following a collision with a Tesla Cybertruck in Fullerton on Friday, May 22, 2026.

According to the Fullerton Police Department, officers responded to the crash at 3:27 p.m. near the intersection of Orangethorpe Avenue and Gilbert Street.

The motorcyclist, riding a brown Honda Navi, was transported to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

Authorities stated that preliminary investigation indicates the motorcyclist was traveling eastbound in the #2 lane of W. Orangethorpe Avenue when the Tesla Cybertruck, traveling westbound, made a southbound turn onto S. Gilbert Street. The motorcycle collided with the side of the Cybertruck.

Officials have not released whether drugs or alcohol were factors in the crash, and the identity of the motorcyclist has not been disclosed.

The incident remains under investigation.
