A man was killed while riding his bicycle after being struck from behind by a vehicle in Tulare County on Tuesday night, May 20, 2025.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 9:45 p.m. in the area of Highway 63 and Avenue 368.
The bicyclist was traveling northbound on Highway 63 when a 2007 Toyota Camry, also heading northbound, collided with the rear of the bicycle.
The impact ejected the man from the bicycle onto the roadway. He sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released.
The driver of the Toyota was not injured and remained at the scene. CHP is continuing to investigate the incident.
