Two people were hospitalized following a head-on collision that temporarily closed Highway 135 near Los Alamos, Santa Barbara County, on Monday morning, May 19, 2025.
According to the Santa Barbara County Fire Department, the crash occurred shortly before 8:30 a.m. near Browne Ranch Road and involved two vehicles.
One driver sustained major injuries and was airlifted to Marian Regional Medical Center. The second driver was transported by ground ambulance for further evaluation.
The CHP responded to the scene and is investigating the cause of the collision.
