[05-19-2025] One Killed, Four Injured in Fiery Single-Vehicle Crash on Arrow Boulevard in FontanaOne person was killed and four others were hospitalized after a vehicle crashed into a tree and caught fire in Fontana early Monday morning, May 19, 2025.

According to the San Bernardino County Fire Department, the crash occurred around 2:25 a.m. near the intersection of Arrow Boulevard and Sierra Avenue. 

Fire crews arrived to find a white Subaru in the median with significant damage and flames coming from the vehicle.

The fire was quickly extinguished, and firefighters used extrication tools to free several occupants from the wreckage within approximately 12 minutes.

Four individuals were transported to local hospitals, including three to a regional trauma center. A fifth passenger was pronounced dead at the scene.

The victims’ identities and their current conditions have not been released.
