[05-18-2026] Riverside County, CA – Motorcyclist Injured in Crash With Vehicle in Indio

A motorcyclist was injured following a collision with an SUV in Indio on Monday night, May 18, 2026.

According to the Indio Police Department, the crash was reported around 11:47 p.m. at the intersection of Avenue 42 and Golf Center Parkway.

Authorities stated that the motorcyclist sustained moderate, non-life-threatening injuries and was transported to Desert Regional Medical Center in Palm Springs for treatment.

Officials said the rider is expected to recover. The driver of the SUV was not injured.

Police have not yet released details regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident. Impaired driving is not believed to have been a factor in the crash.
