According to the Los Angeles Police Department, the collision happened around 7:40 a.m. at South Avenue 20 and North Broadway in the Lincoln Heights area. 

Authorities stated that the rider on a motorcycle was struck by two vehicles, one knocking him to the ground and the other while he was on the road. None of the drivers stopped to assist or alert the authorities.

Police said that the initial hit-and-run vehicle struck the motorcycle after running a red light. The victim was immediately transported to the hospital, where he died. It is unclear whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the collision. 

Further information on the incident has yet to be released by the authorities. No additional details were provided.
