Two people sustained minor to moderate injuries following a small plane crash near the Yuba County Airport in Marysville on Saturday morning, May 17, 2025.

According to the Federal Aviation Administration, the crash occurred around 10:20 a.m. and involved a North American T-28B aircraft. Both occupants of the plane were transported to the hospital for treatment.

The Yuba County Sheriff’s Office reported receiving information that the aircraft was attempting an emergency landing before the crash occurred.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation by the FAA.
