Two teenagers were injured following a hit-and-run crash in Stockton on Friday night, May 17, 2024.
According to the Stockton Police Department, the incident occurred at around 10:00 p.m. along 99 Frontage Road near Inspiration Drive.
Police said that a dark-colored sedan struck the two teenagers, a 13-year-old boy and a 14-year-old girl, along the roadway before fleeing the scene. It is said that the victims were walking home from the grocery store nearby when they were hit.
The boy reportedly suffered serious injuries as a result of the collision. He is currently fighting for his life at the hospital. The girl, on the other hand, is recovering from non-life-threatening injuries.
SPD is currently looking for any possible surveillance camera footage that may help them identify the hit-and-run vehicle. The suspect is still at large.
