[05-16-2026] Riverside County, CA – Two Injured in Crash Involving Temecula Wine Trolley at Rancho California Rd. and Calle Contento

Two people were injured following a crash involving a Temecula Wine Trolley and two vehicles in Temecula on Saturday afternoon, May 16, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision occurred around 3:45 p.m. at Rancho California Road and Calle Contento.

Authorities stated that the crash involved a Temecula Wine Trolley, a Tesla, and a Rivian. The trolley was carrying 15 passengers at the time of the incident.

Officials reported that the driver of the trolley and a passenger inside the Tesla were transported by ambulance for evaluation of pain-related injuries.
