A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Fresno on Friday night, May 15, 2026.

According to police, officers responded to the incident at around 10:20 p.m. at the intersection of Gettysburg and Millbrook avenues.

Authorities stated that the victim, a man in his late 30s, became trapped underneath the vehicle following the collision. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Officials said the pedestrian had been walking in the bicycle lane before the crash. The driver involved remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities.
