A driver was killed following a vehicle vs. farm tractor collision in Linden, San Joaquin County, on Wednesday morning, May 15, 2024.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the collision happened around 5:00 a.m. on East Comstock Road near the intersection of North Duncan Road.
Authorities stated that a farm tractor was traveling westbound on Comstock at about 25 to 30 miles per hour when it was struck by a black pickup truck from behind. The impact of the collision caused the pickup truck to overturn and partially eject its driver.
Police said that the pickup truck driver was pronounced dead at the scene. It is unclear whether the driver of the tractor was injured.
No further details were disclosed, and the authorities are gathering all the necessary information to determine the cause of the crash.
