Several people sustained minor injuries following a two-vehicle crash in Apple Valley, San Bernardino County, on Wednesday morning, May 13, 2026.
According to the Apple Valley Sheriff’s Station, the collision was reported at around 10:09 a.m. at the intersection of Waalew Road and Dale Evans Parkway.
Authorities reported that a Chevrolet pickup truck traveling southbound on Dale Evans Parkway collided with an Edison utility pole. A Toyota sedan later crashed into the rear of the pickup truck.
The crash damaged the utility pole and caused power lines to fall into the roadway, prompting the closure of portions of Waalew Road and Dale Evans Parkway while Edison crews responded to repair the lines.
Officials stated that minor injuries were reported among the parties involved. Drugs and alcohol do not appear to have been contributing factors in the collision.
Authorities continue to investigate the crash.
