[05-13-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – Pedestrian Killed After Being Struck By SUV in Lancaster

A pedestrian was killed after being struck by an SUV in Lancaster on Wednesday night, May 13, 2026.

According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Lancaster Station, the incident occurred around 9:50 p.m. near the intersection of Sierra Highway and Avenue J-8.

Authorities stated that the victim was walking eastbound across Sierra Highway south of Avenue J-8 when he was struck by a black SUV traveling southbound on Sierra Highway.

Officials said that the pedestrian was outside of a marked crosswalk at the time of the collision. He was transported to Antelope Valley Medical Center, where he later died from his injuries.

The driver remained at the scene following the incident.
