A male pedestrian was injured being struck by a vehicle in Turlock on Saturday morning, May 11, 2024.
According to the Turlock Police Department, the traffic crash happened at about 7:51 a.m. at the Golden State Boulevard and Marshall Street intersection.
Upon arrival, TPD officers found a man lying in the roadway bleeding with apparent vehicle collision injuries. He received on-site treatment from the responders while an ambulance was called to the scene. The victim’s name, age, and place of origin were not disclosed at this time.
The southbound lanes of Golden State Boulevard were blocked as a result of the incident. Other motorists were being diverted either west or east into Marshall Street to get through the area.
No further details were immediately provided, and the authorities are still gathering all the evidence they can to determine the cause of the collision and the factors that may have contributed to it.
