[05-10-2026] San Luis Obispo County, CA – One Killed, Two Injured in Crash on Nacimiento Lake Dr Near Frazier Rd.webpOne man was killed, and two others were injured following a single-vehicle crash in northern San Luis Obispo County on Sunday evening, May 10, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, officers responded to the incident at around 7:19 p.m. on Nacimiento Lake Drive near Frazier Road.

Authorities stated that a 2015 Chevrolet Camaro driven by 44-year-old Joseph P. of Paso Robles was traveling westbound when the vehicle went off the north side of the roadway for reasons still under investigation.

Officials said that the driver attempted to correct the vehicle’s path, causing it to cross both lanes before crashing into a tree south of the roadway.

A 48-year-old male passenger from Paso Robles who was seated in the rear of the vehicle sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the scene. His identity has not yet been released pending notification of next of kin.

Another passenger, identified as 41-year-old Mack G. of Paso Robles, sustained minor injuries. The driver suffered major injuries and was transported to Adventist Health Sierra Vista Hospital in San Luis Obispo. He was later arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence.

The investigation is ongoing.
