A rider was killed following a motorcycle vs. vehicle collision in Vista on Thursday afternoon, May 9, 2024.
According to the San Diego County Sheriff’s Department, the crash happened around 1:00 p.m. in the 2000 block of Hacienda Drive.
Authorities stated that the victim was riding a two-wheeled Suzuki when he collided with a Subaru hatchback. Emergency workers transported the motorcycle rider to Tri-City Medical Center for treatment, where he died. His identity was not immediately known.
The driver of the Subaru was not injured. It is unknown whether drugs or alcohol played a role in the collision.
