Two people were seriously injured following a three-vehicle collision in Manteca, San Joaquin County, on Friday afternoon, May 8, 2026.
According to the Manteca Police Department, the crash occurred around 5:34 p.m. in the 200 block of South Union Road.
Authorities reported that a Corvette traveling southbound collided with a Nissan Rogue traveling in the same direction, then crossed into northbound traffic and crashed into a Toyota Camry.
Officials stated that the driver of the Corvette, a 33-year-old Manteca resident, and the driver of the Toyota Camry, a 67-year-old Manteca resident, sustained serious injuries and were transported to local hospitals for treatment.
Police said that the occupants of the Nissan Rogue were not injured. It remains unknown whether impairment was a factor in the collision.
The investigation remains ongoing.
