A 31-year-old woman was killed following a bicycle vs. vehicle collision involving a hit-and-run in Cathedral City on Wednesday night, May 8, 2024.
According to the Cathedral City Police Department, the collision happened around 11:12 p.m. in the area of Ramon Road and Landau Boulevard.
Authorities stated that a woman riding on a bicycle was struck by a vehicle, and she was found in the street with serious injuries. Meanwhile, the driver who fatally struck the victim drove away without giving help to the victim.
The Cathedral City Fire Department paramedics also responded to the scene. They pronounced the woman dead after the collision.
