[05-06-2025] Teenager Killed, Five Injured After Car Crashes Into Tree at Dana Point Harbor Drive and Island Way in Dana PointOne teenager was killed and five others were injured following a crash where a car struck a tree in Dana Point on Tuesday afternoon, May 6, 2025.

According to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred shortly before noon at Dana Point Harbor Drive and Island Way.

Authorities said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while the five passengers were transported to an area hospital.

Three of the injured victims were listed in critical condition but are expected to survive, and two others were treated for minor injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
