A pedestrian sustained life-threatening injuries following a hit-and-run crash in West Hollywood on Monday night, May 5, 2025.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the crash occurred at around 11:55 p.m. near the intersection of Fountain Avenue and Havenhurst Drive.
Investigators said a white sedan traveling westbound on Fountain Avenue struck a pedestrian who was legally crossing in a marked crosswalk and fled the scene without stopping.
Authorities stated that the unidentified pedestrian was transported to a hospital in critical condition for treatment. Investigators believe the suspect vehicle may have damage to the front or left-front bumper area.
The investigation remains ongoing.
