[05-04-2026] San Luis Obispo County, CA – One Injured in Two-Vehicle Crash on Broad St.webpOne person was injured following a two-vehicle crash in San Luis Obispo on Monday morning, May 4, 2026.

According to the San Luis Obispo Police Department, the collision occurred around 8:06 a.m. on Broad Street.

Authorities reported that a BMW sedan traveling northbound on Broad Street attempted to turn left onto Sweeney Lane and collided with a southbound Subaru Outback. The impact caused the Subaru to overturn onto its roof.

The driver of the Subaru was transported to a hospital with minor injuries. Officials stated that the BMW driver was not injured.

Police reported that the Subaru sustained major damage, while the BMW suffered minor damage. DUI is not suspected as a factor in the crash.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident.
