A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a vehicle on Blackstone Avenue near Saginaw Way in Fresno on Saturday night, May 3, 2025.
According to the Fresno Police Department, officers were dispatched to the scene around 11:15 p.m. following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian.
Upon arrival, authorities found a man in the roadway suffering from serious injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police stated that the vehicle involved remained at the crash site, and the driver is cooperating with the investigation. Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be factors in the collision.
The incident remains under investigation by the Fresno Police Department.
