According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident occurred on County Route 98 near Lincoln Avenue.

The victim’s name, age, and place of origin were not immediately available. The total number of people involved was not disclosed. 

County Route 98 suffered traffic slowdowns as a result of the accident.

Authorities have yet to provide an official description of the suspect vehicle. The hit-and-run driver is still at large.
