At least one person was airlifted following a crash where a vehicle went over an embankment in Los Angeles County on Saturday afternoon, May 2, 2026.
According to the California Highway Patrol, the incident was reported at around 4:16 p.m. near Agua Dulce Canyon Road and Soledad Canyon Road.
Authorities stated that a vehicle went over the side of the roadway and struck a pole before descending approximately 50 feet down an embankment. Emergency crews responded to the scene and treated two individuals.
One patient was transported by helicopter to a hospital with moderate injuries, while another individual was treated at the scene. Additional reports indicated the crash may have occurred near Soledad Canyon Road and Capra Road.
Authorities continue to investigate the cause of the crash.
