[05-01-2025] Traffic Slowed After Three-Vehicle Crash on Highway 101 Near Highway 46 West Off-Ramp in Paso RoblesTraffic was slowed following a three-vehicle crash on Highway 101 near the Highway 46 west off-ramp in Paso Robles on Thursday afternoon, May 1, 2025.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:00 p.m. and involved a silver Honda Pilot, a Ford XPL, and a gravel truck traveling southbound on Highway 101. 

At least one vehicle was reported to be stuck in the middle of the lane following the collision. Prior to the crash, a caller reported a mattress in the roadway in the same area and said they had to swerve to avoid it, according to the CHP traffic log.

As of 2:15 p.m., authorities had not confirmed whether any injuries occurred. Traffic remained slow in the southbound lanes, as shown by a Caltrans traffic camera.

The CHP is investigating the incident.
