[04-29-2026] Los Angeles County, CA – One Killed in Multi-Vehicle Collision on 710 Freeway in Carson

One person was killed in a multi-vehicle collision on the Long Beach (710) Freeway in Carson early Wednesday morning, April 29, 2026.

According to the California Highway Patrol, the crash occurred around 1:01 a.m. at the northbound freeway and Del Amo Boulevard exit, involving four vehicles: a white Kia SUV, a gray sedan, a dark-colored sedan, and a black sedan in the middle lanes.

The victim, whose identity has not been released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash caused one vehicle to end up in an embankment, and several vehicles had their airbags deployed.

A SigAlert was issued, closing all northbound lanes of the freeway and the Del Amo exit for several hours.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the collision.
