According to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office, the collision happened around 1:00 p.m. in the area of Cesar Chavez Street and Avenue 53. 

Authorities stated that one person sustained significant injuries and was transported to the hospital. The condition of the victim remains unclear at this time. 

Police said that both drivers remained at the scene and cooperated with the authorities. It is not yet clear whether drugs or alcohol contributed to the crash. 

No further information was released, and the authorities are gathering all necessary information to determine the cause of the accident. Investigations are ongoing.
